Introducing the HH (Horticultural Horrors) Team.

Victoria Vacher graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Horticulture and completed independent studies for a minor in Landscape Architecture. She held the position of editor and activities coordinator for the Cleveland Botanical Gardens. She has been a teacher of Landscape Architecture at Cleveland State University and Tidewater Community College. She is a published garden writer with articles in The Cleveland Plain Dealer and Columbus Dispatch. Vicki is a past director of the Fred Heuett Foundation in Norfolk, VA and served as president of The Virginia Beach Beautification Commission for two years. Since 1985, she has owned and operated North End Landscapes.


Christopher Vacher is an avid naturalist, conservationist and outdoorsman. With 17 years in the landscaping industry he continues to stay current by attending classes, reading industry journals, attending workshops, studying relentlessly and constantly observing the ecosystems around him. Christopher has been published in The Virginia Biological Farmer. He is a VA Certified Pesticide Applicator and a VA Certified Prescribed Burn Manager. He is also an owner/operator of North End Landscapes. With his many years in the business, he is a master of installation, designing/constructing garden structures and finding solutions for difficult challenges. He heads up the pest management program in his company. For additional information:
